What a bloody fantastic question. I had my gall bladder out 12 years ago and am absolutely terrified I will experience the same amount of pain again with the sleeve. I really don't thi k the anesthetist gave me enough drugs. I was only 12 so I think he thought I could take it. He also have me a horrible scar that my current doctor was horrified to see and assured me that my sleeve scars would be much more attractive.

I've had my gall bladder taken out and had a hell of alot of pain afterwards and was re-hospitalised due to one of my cuts opening up!!! I've had a hernia repair, no pain afterwards. Sleeve, same, no pain afterwards!

I had my gallbladder out a couple of years before my sleeve. No pain with either. (Didn't go skiing though!)

Just wonder what anyones pain was pike in comparison to after they had their gall bladder or appendix removed. I've had both removed and with my appendix I was skiing 4 days later and with my gall bladder I didn't take a single pain med after recovery. So I'm wondering if maybe I just handle surgery well or if they are on a completely different scale of pain to the sleeve
