| mmm I agree Emily - I'm very skeptical... especially because they wont just say what machine they are using, so I don't know if it's x-ray, mri or ultrasound, nor can I imagine how any of those could show what they advertise.
I'm not too worried about radiation though but again will depend on the machine and how long the scanning goes for, usually radiation from an x-ray shouldn't be anymore then spending a few minutes in the sun, and mri and ultrasound aren't radiation concerns... the irony of getting a scan to check for possible cancer, that could possibly give you cancer is a bit ridiculous lol.
Will see how it goes anyway and let you know in November - hopefully it will surprise us all (in a good way!) :D

I never really thought of it that way - I'm slightly sceptical of any type of scan.. I don't know if I'd like the idea of having a scan just for the sake of it... Radiation, etc, etc.

| Didn't see this offer, but would have been tempted myself. I saw an article about them on TV a few years ago, and thought it would be a great thing to do. Though I doubt that it does all that it says, and it's only as good as the people who read it, I think it will be very interesting - and if anything doubtful comes up, you can take it to your usual doc to have it checked out. Good luck with it, and let us know how it is! | |

| It is suspicious to me that their website does not even list what the "3D scan" actually involves, but states that it's a) "better than blood tests, XRays, CT or MRI" b) "gold standard" of testing, "used by NASA!" c) 89% clinical accuracy d) detects "illness, stress, improper organ function" (a scan can only tell you about organs structure, not function) e) "reveals the true state of health and function of all your major organs, your hormonal and mineral balance, hydration and oxygen levels and cell health" (not medically possible via a scan)
I am always skeptical of things that claim the world, especially when they are claiming it about people's health.

| eek I'm hoping not Caz! lol a little is expected, like with any xray... but i haven't worked out what machine they're even using! So I have no idea :S hahaha GR - I'm already an alien hybrid I'm only a little hypochondriac hehe I don't expect to find anything wrong, but I'm fascinated to find out what my insides are like now, so I could compare them after sleeve. An inside before and after pic I guess :) | |

| It sounds so 'STAR TREK' doesn't it? I would be interested, but what if something was found that was really bad?
I suppose its good to know, if you have cancer and a few months to live, but I don't know if I would like to be cognisant of TOO much...and what if the scan revealed I was really an alien hybrid? I don't think I could cope with that...

| Is anyone else here on scoopon? Did you see the deal for a full body scan?
I tried to do research to see if it was any good, but eventually just took my chances and hoped it wasn't a dud.
So with that in mind... has anybody had a full body scan before? Apparently it is a 3d body scan that shows up all your organs and arteries etc etc looking for any early signs of disease or well, anything basically.

Opinions? Anyone know anything about it? lol
