| Hi LalaW and welcome,
Congratulations, your losses so far are fantastic. I was slower in getting on to solids too, but am fine now. Are you having trouble with all solids or just specific things? I think it is definately worth asking your surgeon about if there are too many things causing problems and you don't feel it is improving for you.
Have a good read around the site, there is lots of great info here, and if you can't find what you need to know, ask away, there are lots of lovely people here who will do their best to help.
Cheers - Carrie | |

| Hi and welcome, Actually it has only been 10 weeks so I wouldn't be too worried about the solids just yet, but Jannet is right do check with the surgeon. The biggest problem people have at the start is having a little too much quantity wise, they forget that solids are gonna take up a whole lot more room than sloppy food does.
Fantastic weight loss by the way.
Hugs Gail

| Hi and welcome to the forum. Congratulations on being sleeved. Sorry to hear you are having trouble with solids. I hope you have been back to see your surgeon about it because by this stage you should nearly beable to eat anything. | |

| I had my gastric sleeve op on the 8th June 2010, and have lost a grand total to date of 22.4 kilo. I am very excited about this and my jeans are now falling off if not held up with a belt. The surgery was easy peasy and I was up and about a day later. The only problem I had was uncontrollable urgent diarrhoea for 2 weeks which has long settled and life is good. Solids are still a big issue and near impossible to get down still, but it has all been worth it!
