Recommended Bariatric Surgeons Perth?

Hello, 

I've gone with Dr Sue Taylor at Western Surgical, who also have Prof Hahndorf and Dr Tan. I have had 2 friends use Prof and love him, I am loving Dr Taylor and the team are amazing. 

I think Dr Taylor is on the HBF preferred list as well for HBF ( I can't comment I am self funded)

I went to Stephen Watson, and believe that he is a nice person and a good surgeon, but forget it as far as support and follow-up.
Also, nursing care and general communication at SJOGM is very poor.  And scary.

My "sleeve-sister" who I met through this forum @juldon1 is very happy with Leon Cohen, and I have to say has a wonderful team, great pre-and post-op support.

I'm not with HBF, so can't comment.
I have top level medibank and had a $3050 gap with Dr Watson, and $1500 with his anaesthetist.  You will also cop gap fees for blood tests taken in hospital and for pathology.

I'm new to this forum and considering the Gastric Sleeve. I have been reading the forums on a few surgeons and just wondering if anyone has had success lately (2013-2015) with these surgeons in particular; Dr Leon Cohen, Dr Jon Armstrong and Dr Stephen Watson. Also if anyone has had any trouble with HBF insurance and any of these Dr's.
