My new life starts on February 27, 2015.

Hi all. Firstly, Merry Christmas and wishing you all the very best for 2015 :-D
I got my early super request approved and have sent the paperwork to my super fund so that'll be the new year I guess but it's a huge relief as that's almost complete. Feb 27th for surgery and I'm excited.

Congrats!!  It's such a relief when you finally get a surgery date isnt it, like a (no pun intended) ...weight has been lifted!   LOL 

I just got mine as well, same day as your's too!!

Well done, what a great decision you've made for yourself!  No doubt 2015 will be filled with change and hope for a healthier future :)

Hi All, I've spent a lot of time evaluating the merritts of my decision to have surgery and now it's booked. I'm a 50 year old male who has so many health issues that ultimately made the decision easy. BMI of 53. Weight 167.9kgs and a bleak future at best. Now that's all going to change on Feb 27th next year, my new life starts and I'm VERY pleased. My surgeon set a goal weight at 100kgs and i can't imagine what my life will be like at that weight but i'll be able to participate instead of watch life go by. Theres going to be five weeks of Optifast so i don't know if that's good or not but that's my new years resoloution for 2015. Bring it on 😃
