| I have been reading posts in forums and asking different people about their costs and the surgeons fees differ quite a bit. It ranged from $2500 to $4500. Why is there so much difference? Can I ask what people here paid out, for which surgeon and whether the anaesthetist was included? Many many thanks. | |

| Hiya Tinalou, It depends entirely on the surgeon, he/shes the one who sets that fee, and may or may not include an anaesthetist.
Mine will be $4500 including the surgeons fee, gasman, dietician, surgeons visits etc etc :) | |

| I think the cost variation would be for a whole variety of reasons. Things like location overheads would certainly be a factor (cost of renting rooms or buying and paying rates in some areas vary greatly), then the other stuff like variatikon in their own and staff salaries would factor in. I think some surgeons also have a more involved approach where you have to see other staff in their surgery like nurses etc. To be honest, I can't be completely certain but I just feel these might be a few of the things you are wondering about. | |
