| I was self funded and paid $24 800 in total, and got $1000 back off Medicare. The hospital was the main cost at $17 000, but I was in ICU the first night. Surgeon was $4200, wouldn't want to go with anyone else though. Also had an endoscopy a couple of weeks beforehand, which is also included. | |

| I self funded and my total cost was just under $17,000. Hospital was $15,000 upfront, but I got about $3000 back Surgeon $4200 Anaesthetist $1200 Medicare rebate was around $1200. Kelly | |
