| I'd say it's probably different for all of them. Understanding how the rebates work is a bit of a task. | |

| The reason I asked is my friend saw exactly the same surgeon 2 yrs ago and had to pay only the out of pocket and the private health fund sent a check then with the difference.
Guess it's a question I will call up about tomorrow, thanks for replying :)

| Hey
I dont know if its the same for your doctor but I will be paying the full amount on the quote and I will get the rebate after my surgery is done as they will bill it all on the surgery day. So I pay the full amount at least a week before and get the rebate after the surgery.

| I'm a bit confused, I have my date of surgery on the 27th Feb , so I have a question in regards to how much I pay the week before hand. I'm seeing Dr Thomas at SJOG at Murdoch, I've been given a quote then the out of pocket expense. My question is do I pay only the out of pocket expense or do it pay the quote? Thanks | |
