| Hi Amy, and welcome, I don't know anything about PCOS, so unfortunately I can't offer any advice in relation to surgery on that front...I can offer, however, my recommendation to see Dr Padovan at the Mount in Perth. I know he also has rooms in Waikiki...I was sleeved in May, absolutely no drama what so ever, lovely staff, very easy recovery, and he also has a dietitian working out of the same office as him, so two appointments in one! PS - I'm now nearly 40kgs down...and still going... | |

| I don't think it will take long for all the fabulous Perth people to offer their advice, but I just wanted to say welcome aboard! I'm pretty interested in how people with PCOS go with the surgery, my daughter also has it, and I sometimes wonder if the sleeve will be the best option for her too. | |

| See what I did there? lol Hi guys, I'm Amy. New to this site, living in Fremantle, WA. Have had PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) more than half my life. Had a review appointment with my specialist today, who had told me that weight loss surgery is now my best option. Massive kick in the guts, but starting to think maybe it's the kick in the guts that I need. Have started to look around at my options, and was hoping for some advice. Experience, surgeons, costs etc. Thanks in advance!! Cheers, Amy. | |
