11 December - scared but excited

Hi Katie, I'm less scared than I was a few days ago. I haven't thought about anything else, been researching and preparing myself. I think the more prepared I am, the less scared I'll be. I have looked at so many things on this forum, it's ridiculous. The December monthly sleevers section is helpful, everyone's in the same boat.

I had the biggest "last meal" today, sizzler. So full right now and it's strange to think I'll never eat that much again for as long as I live. I might start opti Monday instead of Wednesday, just to undo any weight gain my last few meals have caused :)

Feeling the same! My surgery date is 12th December. So close! Are you nervous about what eating or rather drinking food will be like?

I'm booked in with Dr Reza Adib in Brisbane. I was hoping to have it before Christmas but now it's so close, I'm scared. I'm so excited to start the next phase of my life though.
