| Hi Crisalida,
Congrats on taking the plunge and getting the surgery. Mine is next week and I've been having a few doubts, then I hear stories like yours and it helps me know that it is the right thing to do.
All the best with your recovery. Have you joined the October Monthly thread?

| Hi Crisalida
Wow - you've done it! Congratulations. No point second-guessing yourself now, though. You obviously had to go through some stuff until you were okay with it, so it's all good. Just relax now, get over the op, and go with the flow.
Soon it's not just the weight off your shoulders that you'll be noticing! | |

| I am so happy. I waited far too long to get my surgery because I was afraid I would die, or something else bad would happen to me. Well.. I am wishing I had have got the surgery years ago when i first inquired. I kept putting it off, and ended up being 30 kilos heavier by the time i had my operation.
My surgeon was awesome, and I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders.
I am 32, still not comfortable listing my weight on here.. but I have a LONG way to go.. but looking forward to my future and re-learning everything..
Not sure what else to say for an introduction, but looking forward to getting to know you all :)
