i bought an el cheapo one for $40 and it didnt work properly. After some research i found Polar to be a great brand but too expensive - until i found one on Amazon for around $68 including postage. It came within 3 days from the US too! Ive used it with my workout since and its AWESOME! so easy to enter all your info and then see the info after every work out.

Here is the link - the cheap one id the colour brown.

I've been looking around for a watch that calculates cals burned and heart rate etc... I am surprised at the vast range out there ranging from £5 - £300!!
Now, I can't afford anything near the top of the range and I am suspicious of the cheaper ones.

Have any of you used one? Can you recommend? It would be interesting to hear your experiences and opinions on this type of 'aid'?!

When I am back on my feet I think it would be interesting to see how my body is working day to day??
Cheers in advance...
