| It was great to see what everybody is eating. I am 6 weeks out and finding it hard to think up foods which might go down easily. You have all given me some great ideas. I have been stuck on mush and too scared to try different things, after a run in with a frankfurt (it won). I might try the cruskits with some spreads, sounds like funto have some crunch back in my diet. I'm finding some foods like fish and vegies, which I loved before the op don't like me amymore, same with some meats. But I've gown to like benefibre..lol Thanks again Jill | |

| Here is what i ate today
B - Smoothy with soy milk, protein powder, benefiber, assorted berries (raspberry, blueberry etc) L - 2 light cruskits with philly spread D - pizza - using tony ferguson low carb, high protein, high fibre wraps as the base, toppings i had some chicken breast, capsicum, pineapple and weight watchers grated cheese on top.
Normally i have a morning and or afternoon snack but today i didnt. A usual snack for me would be weight watchers peaches, or 2 fruits, a slice of cheese, or something along those lines. | |

| Queenie, I think you just need to trust your sleeve. I know this is easier said than done, but our sleeve will tell you in no uncertain terms if it is to much, too heavy or not quit right. Everyone has different tastes therefore have different meals they have found. I think you are doing great. Hope this helps!! | |

| I am just over 6 weeks out, and I *worry* I eat too much. I typical day for me. Breakfast - Scrambled Egg with two slices of tomato (do not finish) Snack - Philly cheese and slice of tomato of 2 crackers (up to four sometimes) Lunch - I make a cup of salad with meat in (ham, chicken etc) mix it all up (do not finish) Snack - Popcorn usually a handful or two Dinner - Vegies with fish/meat I have also been making a *pizza* type thing, with a tortilla bread, tomato paste, corn, mushrooms, capsicum (about four toppings) plus a small handful of cheese on top. I can eat half of one? is this bad? | |

| Hi Queenie,
My day goes like this: Breakfast: cup chai late'
Morning tea: Greek yogurt
Lunch: varies - 1 cruskit with salmon paste & avocado or 1/2 cup of previous nights meal - protein mainly like rogan josh, seafood marinara no pasta. Maybe a poached egg & teaspoon of baked beans.
Dinner: similar to lunch. At the moment I am trying to limit my carb intake so will go for slow cooked meat & veg.
I like "Paleo" cookbooks - these might give you different ideas with the focus on protein.
