| Thanks all!
Very kind words...
I will try and post my weight loss graph for all of you pre-op and post-op people, as its a good reminder that slow and steady sometimes wins the race!!
I have never been able to eat what I like without it stalling my loss, or even putting some on, and Ive had to exercise to get the last weight off.
I will still weigh myself weekly at a minimum.
I will be throwing out my size 12 and 14 clothes soon too...just to reduce any risk of gradually gaining again comfortably....
Wish me luck with the scanning/posting stuff...I'm quite clueless about it!

| Congratulations on such a great achievement Deb. You are a wonderful inspiration to all of us still on our journey's, along with those about to embark on it. I am already finding huge benefits with just being halfway to goal. I can't wait to get to the end of my journey. In saying that it's nice going along at a steady pace to be able to enjoy the small changes as they come. Enjoy your trip away with your daughter. | |

| Hello all,
Just had to tell someone and hopefully inspire any of you sitting on the fence!
I am now an officially healthly weight range BMI person!
This is actually my third goal, but the biggest one.
The first was to get below 83kg..a weight I found it hard to get below using the normal methods, and a big psychological one for me.
The second goal was 69kg..the average weight loss associated with a VSG.
This is my third and main goal....i'm 57kg (Im only 5ft).
The last goal will be to get to 55kg...in the middle of the normal weight range for me and the one that will give me a little wiggle room if I get the 10% average weight gain long term....
Now I have to buy some nice new clothes, and book my daughter and I in for an overnight horseriding trip!
I cant believe that just over 12months ago I was so big. Life is so much easier now. My marriage is better because I am better...I spend more time physically doing things with my kids and I am no longer hungry all the time.
Ive had a dream run. Im so happy I had this done.
You guys are privy to my most embarassing 'before' photo's..use them wisely!! Ha ha.
