| My Scales are evil. They will punish you if you don't believe them the first time. Each time you get back on they add extra kilos. So if hop for a 2 time they go up and if you for 3rd time the go up even more. | |

| I've had inconsistencies with them too. I have the WW glass ones with the fat %age. They really need a level surface and I too do the hop on and off (twice for me) to verify. They weigh me consistently under what the surgeon's scales say- but another set of scales we have agree with the WW ones...
The body fat goes up and down too.
Instructions for how to do body fat%. I have the instructions and will bring them to work and scan them and send you a personal email ssjad.

| I'm going to get a new battery, one day when we get to a shop that has one!! Living in a tiny town 2 hours from anywhere does have many disadvantages!!
Off to Rocky Tuesday for my pre-op appointment so hopefully I can get a battery there, then if they are still playing up I guess I'll have to buy a new set while I'm in Rocky for surgery!
Happy ...I've never had a problem with other scales (wouldn't be as worried if it was a few hundred grams)
And ...I've taken the battery out of mine so sorry can't help with the changing to body fat.

| Buy new scales!
I have the same ones... they normally behave but every now and again...
By the way - can someone tell me how to change the measurement from weight to fat%? Mine came without instructions and I can't figure it out...

| I have glass scales too. Mine varies by a few hundred grams and that shits me. Like you, I spend my time getting off and jumping back on until I get the same weight three times!! In my case, I think the floor isn't as even and that's what is causing the difference. In your case though, I'm not too sure. A 4kg difference is a bit much! Have you got a friend who can bring their scales down to your house and see if the same thing happens???? | |

| My sister and I both have a set of these scales. I love them, and neither of us have had any problems what-so-ever.

| I have a set of digital WW scales, the nice glass ones that do the fat % or something fancy.
Anyway I have a major problem with them, in the space of 5 minutes my weight varies by up to 4kg! The problem is SO bad I've made a rule that the number has to come up 3 times for me to believe it. It makes me wonder about the accuracy of my scales and can also take 10 mins of jumping on/jumping off ...talk about frustrating!
Has anyone else experienced this ...could it be batteries or are they just hopeless?
