| Thanks for letting us know, Jo. I, too, thought she hadn't had the specialist appointment yet, so perhaps she did have a big flareup and jumped the queue! LOL Best wishes, Nic - hope you're feeling lots better by the time you read this. Big hugs Chris (who thinks you guys have started an epidemic - nausea and right eye headache last night - hoping I'm NOT following suit!) | |

| Thanks for the update Jo. Was that sudden? I didn't think she had even seen the dr yet or maybe I'm behind in my dates. Anyway I hope she is back and feeling great again soon.

| I was given a NSAID by my surgeon for the shoulder pain, so opinion must vary. | |

| Nicole, I too am having Gall Bladder issues. I don't get a headache but get wicked pains in my chest (left breast), stomach and back. It renders me speechless....rotten darn thing.
I had an ultrasound on mine on saturday and they said there are no stones in mine but it is inflamed. I assume my surgeon will remove mine as I have heard from some of his other patients that it is common after a bypass surgery.
I thought I would mention that I have been told that bypass and sleeved patients should not take nsaids (neurophen, orudis etc), even as a suppository. I have been told as I have a bypass, that I can't have asprin or codeine as well. My poor hubby is miserable each month without ponstan...poor man...lol.

| Thanks for that, Nic. So now I'm wondering if my 'right eye headaches' are in fact from my gall bladder and not migraines after all? Oh well, I guess time will tell! Best of luck with the doc, and I look forward to hearing what s/he says. Hugs Chris | |

| thanks chris and jilly,
I still have a slight headache today but nothing like yesterday. When i had time to search properly about side effects with gall bladder last night. I read that headaches can be a problem especially over the right eye....bingo.....that was where mine was...and yes i also thought migraine, but it seems strange that it has happened now with all my gallbladder issues. When i got the appoinment the other day with my gp it was an emergency appoinment so i still have the original appointment that i made which is on tuesday ( i didnt cancel just in case something like this happened) so i will go back and tell her what i have experienced.
thanks so much for your concern, its so good having a wealth of knowledge on this site Hugs to both of you

| Hi Nic Sorry you're feeling so bad, but that headache sounds exactly like my migraines. Try some Mersyndol - it works for me - but be ready to sleep when you take them (take 2). And yes, see the doc as it's not usual for you. The sooner you see the surgeon about this gall bladder the better - and I'm still hoping not to follow in your footsteps! Hugs Chris | |

| Hi Nicole
Not sure that I had headaches with the actual gall bladder attack but was very nauseous and actually felt really sick as if I was going to vomit. To be honest when I had the worst gall bladder attack it was so painful I don't think I would have known if I had a headache or not. The headache has probably made you feel nauseous as well. The headache sounds a bit like a migraine as migraines can also make you nauseous. Sorry can't help you much with that but I hope for your sake the headache soon goes away. If it persists please get medical help seem you have never had one like that before. Thinking of you Nic. hugs Jilly

| Can anyone tell me if you had headaches when you had gallbladder problems
Today i had a really bad headache over my right eye, i have just spent 3 hours in bed it was that bad. 2 lots of nurofen have not budged it. I also had a headache 2 days ago in the same spot but not as bad.
I have just looked on google and its seems some think it is a symptom and others say it has nothing to do with the gallbladder. It seems strange to me because i have never had a headache like it before, i also had nausea when the pain was at its worst.
