Possible to pay for wifes sleeve with my super?

I know someone who paid for his wife's surgery through his fund, as she did not have any super at all.

I believe it is, I remember reading on this forum of people doing that.
Have you run whatever department that organises thisnowdays to ask? otherwise apply and see how you go.
There are companies that will apply for you.

Hi all my wife and I are looking at getting gastric sleeve done as we are both over weight. We have phi with hospital cover and out cover also covers item number 31575. We would be looking at dipping into our super to pay the gap. Is it possible for me to pay for both via my super or not?
As I have a lot more in my super account.
Any advice would be great
