oh ok. I assume the limit on milk is so that the extra carbs aren't an issue. I've found the whole pre op diet quite easy to stick to except the milk portions for my coffee. I'm really hoping it isn't going to do too much damage

In the ingredients it says skim milk. I mix Kickstart with water.

Hi Chookums, my dietician was very clear on this, only 1-2 cups of coffee a day and only a thimble full of milk allowed in each.
You said that there is milk in the shakes, what do you mean? Are you mixing the dry powder with milk?

Hi all I have just started on Kickstart which the dietician said I could have as I got it at a good price and also was able to claim on my health benefits. The question I want to ask to those who have already completed their pre op diet "Did anyone have milk in tbeir coffee or tea. I reall6 cant see the difference since there is already milk in the shakes. I have to do this for 3 weeks prior surgery. No extra Protein was mentioned just the allowable veges and clear soup and diet jelly and sugarless lollies and softdrink.
