| I just checked the cost spreadshhet I did in my diary (glad its handy for me at least! hehe) first appointment with the dietician was $150. I got $112.50 back from NIB.
The next two appointments are part of my program fee. I asked when I went the other day, if I need any other appointment with the dietician it will cost me $100 a visit. WhichI can claim back on my health insurance if I haven't reached my limit for dieticians.
These are the two dietician my surgeon uses at his clinic (in Bulleen). http://www.melbournelapband.com.au/fiona-sammut-caitlyn-green.html
I think they also work elsewere, and I have met both and they both seemed nice.

| Hi Amy, I've just been sleeved through CWLS in Hawthorn and Helen Bauzon does their dietitian/nutritionist work in their offices. I believe she is fairly well known & regarded in the industry. I don't know costs as it was all inclusive for me.
Check her website out here.
Otherwise, you could just go through the CWLS website here.

| Hi Ames, I was sleeved by lapsurgery aust in Boronia and they included several appointments with the dietician post surgery. I'm sure you could make an appointment there. I'm pregnant now and have made an additional appointment that wasn't part of my package, just to ensure I'm getting the right nutrition.

| The clinic works mostly with lap-banders - not sleeve patients....and they dont have a nutritionst / dietician on site.
Also - are they very expensive?
Im in Hawthorn (Melbourne,) but happy to travel if its someone who's experienced in working with sleevers.

| Have you checked with your surgeon or his office? Not all, but most of them seem to have a 'team' of people they work with, usually including dieticians.
Mine does, but all surgeons are different.

| Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone knows of a dietician in Melbourne that works with sleevers post op? Wondering if I should be lining up an appointment to get prepared for life after the sleeve & ensure I get the right nutrients.
Many thanks in advance Amy :-)
