Are there BMI restrictions on revisions? Empty

My doctor told me that it is no problem to convert a sleeve to a bypass and if there was proof of little weight loss, it didn't matter re BMI. I asked him about this when I had my sleeve (against his wishes I might add - he thought the bypass was far superior to the sleeve) as I was worried I might not lose enough weight with the sleeve alone.
I'm happy with my weight loss and am nearing the 2.5 year mark and still can only eat very small amounts. It depends on the 'bougie' size that the Dr used during sleeve surgery as to how restrictive your sleeve will be. Maybe you need to ask your surgeon the bougie size he used and explain that you just aren't happy with the weight loss so far.
Best of luck - and never give up hope - there are solutions!

What is the official minimum BMI for a revision, or does it not matter what your BMI is for a revision?
