you go gal :)))))))))))

As i wrote earlier , after much distress at malting as I called it..

couldnt go anywhere, so embarrassing...my long black hair would trail behind me... I searched on line

and read about nioxcin and hairloss after weight surgery....before i knew it I was on line ordering.....

the kit did last me few months... mind you I am not one for washing my hair daily... only twice a week.....

only ever purchased one kit... though instant relieve after first wash...i continued to kit finsihed...though i have my treatments every chance i get.... so was worth every cent... thought treatments leave hair silky.... nioxcin contributed to remedying hair loss absolutely..

most welcome fellow sleever

I'm going to the hairdresser tomorrow to have the hot oil treatment and getting the kit online tomorrow.
I really appreciate your help. Thank you :)
Do you always use the noixicin to shampoo and condition? Or do you use different shampoos sometimes?

Hi Kell

I purchased a kit, it included a shampoo and a conditoner and a hair scalp tonic which i wold massage into scalp after towel drying after washing...

no Kell doesnt smell the best for a few moments, but gosh hair feels healthier and stronger instantly

if my memory serves me correctly, my hair stopping falling (or malting as i used to say LOL ) immediatley.,

and for a few months due to wonderful new grow had the fizzy new growth...but within six months thickier and silkier than ever

and now 2.5 years later... envy of most wink wink :)))

seriously, visit to hairdresser and hot oil treatment under steamer for 30mins not 15 (same price) does wonders....

even my hairdresser was impressed and recommended i keep using Noixicin.... do shop around on line... some places far cheaper than others

i cant recall whether kit 1 or kit 3... forgive me.... my memory fails me at moment.....

all best....

Thank you everyone :) Getting blood tests done & buying Nioxin online. Angeleque which products did you buy? And do they smell nice? There is follicle booster, hair booster, shampoo and conditioner. Not sure what to buy.

I have just been reading some research on the internet about hairloss & low serrum ferritin levels.

Serum Ferritin is the iron stores in your body as opposed to your haemoglobin which is in your blood stream.
It is possible to have a good haemoglobin level and still have low Ferritin levels. I used to have very low ferritin levels when I was a regular blood donor (had to stop).

If you are still having probs with hair loss I would suggest get you Ferritin levels checked. Just ask your GP for a pathology request.....small blood test.

I also think the protein & zinc have a big role in preventing hair loss.

I am 7 months post op and hair loss just starting to slow down now. For the last month I have been using a shampoo called ALPECIN. It is available from Woolworths. It is a caffeine based shampoo and it helped to thicken and strengthen my hair. My hairdresser said the regrowth since using this product is unbelievable. I wish I had used it sooner.

Thank you.
I saw my dietician today and I've started taking blackmores skin, hair & nails. Also I've been told to eat more protein.
Fingers crossed.

I'm just short of 5 weeks post op and I too have hair loss, when I wash it in the shower i'm always gobsmacked at how much ends up entwined in my fingers!! Almost makes me cry.

Are you taking your Multi vitamins? Vitamin deficiency can cause hair loss -really stick to your daily vitamin. Also you can get vitamins for hair and nails too. That may help. I am using Argan Oil on my hair, and it's helping a bit I think, well maybe not with the loss, but it's making the remaining hair look thicker and glossy so it looks less noticeable.

Mine has been decimated. I have got some of that minoxidil stuff, which I shall try. my vitamins and minerals are fine, plus I am taking a chinese medicine capsule. I am watching with interest, as I have lost so much hair now (more than half my pony-tail at this point) that if it accelerates, well baldness is a real fear. I have spent years growing it, so this is a massive blow.

so, no help - I will see how it goes with what I am trying though....

good luck!
