| Hi peeps
I'm currently with medibank private and have been for years, my question:
I only have basic hospital cover, if its not covered and I upgrade to top cover, will I still have to wait 12 months?
Cheers

| Generally, if you upgrade your cover, waiting periods apply - usually 12 months.

| That is great news guys
I guess I'm like everybody else and checking numerous times with my PHI until I'm on the operating table!
Bring it on!

| depends, if your surgeon works from a public hospital you might be ok. call the surgeon to find out where he/she operates. call medibank to see what they say.
i had to upgrade but the time went quickly | |
