| I also enjoyed tinned fish, smoothies, yoghurts, frozen yoghurts and soups...things like lamb ragout or soups which I purred meat up and added to the soup to boost the protein. Like janette, I eventually found a protein popper I could stomach and drank one of those a day.
Also like janette I didn't stress too much...just tried to ensure that I was getting some protein into whatever I ate (but couldn't stomach protein powder so it had to be natural).
This stage doesn't last long even though it may feel sometimes like it's taking forever.

| I didn't worry about cooking anything special as its for such a short time.
I just ate sloppy porridge or weetbix, custards, yoghurts, pureed fruits, velish soups in tetra packs (they are yummy) and a Kate Morgan shake everyday to help boost my protein intake. They are great, lots of flavours, protein and taste good.
I couldn't stomach the thought of eating my meat/chicken and vegies pureed!!
Waited until I was on the soft food stage for them.

| I also ate baked beans... good for lots of reasons!
I also pureed 'normal' food and just added extra liquid/sauce to it to make it the right consistancy. Spag bol, risotto etc, not my top choice of how to enjoy this food, but I craved different tastes.
