| as you can see... 3 carbs and 7 grams of protein... pretty good stuff right there.
Not cheap they are $6 for the packet but we are worth it ...plus you can cut one in half and its enough
You can even pop them in the oven till crunchy then crush them up for low carb crumbs for coating stuff in if you want

| helga thins i found at that stage the best - just half of one - toasted with avocado mushed and sprinkle of grated cheese -yum... or make a mini pizza but eat slow - it fills VERY quickly.
i am now up to half a toasted ham and cheese sandwich lol - half? my god i would have had 2 whole ones not that long ago!

| oh and if you lightly spray it with canola oil (spray can type) and cut it into triangles ( or dont spray it if you want) and sprinkle it with parmesan cheeseand pop in the oven till crisp it makes good faux corn chips for nachos... serve them on the side dont put them under the meat.
Also do the same and sprinkle with seasonings, like pizza topping etc and they are great for using in dips or putting cheese on at get togethers etc... all low carb!

| Tony ferg has a really good low carb one that is not dense but really thin. You can get them in terry white chemists... they make good pizza bases too.

| just get one anyway and just eat some of the bread and the meat, salad, just dont get creamy dressings hehe
or get them to take out the middle of the normal bread so there isnt much there, once again just eat some of the bread. you dont want to depreieve yourself especially if its healthy. isnt that the point of the sleeve :)

| Wholemeal Mountain Bread is not too bad... I find I generally only use half a piece and it takes me a good long while to get through it. I don't "do" wraps though - after a bad experience fairly early on - I prefer to rip the bread into pieces and eat it with some dip (I alternate between a home made yoghurt, garlic and spinach dip and a home made beetroot dip) with some cold meat on the side. | |

| I would be checking the labels to find one high in protein and fibre.
Thats what I did with my bread, LOL!

| If your worried or concerned the person to ask is your dietitian.
Personally I would try one as you have to at some stage, just be very aware of what you are putting in your mouth! & as lin said, read the nutrition label :-)
Its a learninig process.
