| Never looked at so many boobs and tummies! Wow that Dr is good looking! Wowser! I am in Vic so will look for one here when the time is closer, haven't even had sleeve yet! But already have bat wings and tummy issues with hangy bits, ewww, so will have to do something as is only going to get worse. I don't think I will need bigger boobs as quite like them getting smaller but my girls do like to travel in different directions and point at the ground :( think I will add that to the list.
Going back to look at that Dr again, mmm mmm ;-p

| Well I spoke with Dr Lim's receptionist and this is what she said Breast Reduction x2 1 night stay in either Castle Hill Hospital Day surgery where they have overnight stays, or Westmead Private (which with my medical conditions I think I would go there personally) These are so close to where I live too which is a bonus. With PHI $8000 Without PHI $10,900 Rebate : $955
I will definitely go see him later when I have the money. Specialises in Breast Surgery. Thanks Trishah. My new Hoola Hoop Fairy. :)

| I think you were very lucky with that price Janette or his prices have skyrocketed in the last year. (Dr Gianoutsis ) I emailed his rooms a few weeks ago and the reply was this:
You need to check your level of cover with your Health Fund Our quotes for surgery are valid for six months therefore I would suggest you make contact for an appointment closer to the time and we will give you an accurate costing once Dr Gianoutsos has consulted with you. As a rough estimate you could be looking at around approximately $10,000 (doctors fees only) or each surgery including anaesthetist and surgeons. Regards Vicki

Havent had a TT done yet, cant fit it in to life , sigh. A/P Mark Gianoutsis did my tummy tuck 16 months ago and I was out of pocket $4,500. Very very happy with the results, so much so I went back and had a lower body lift and thighplasty.

| these were my other choices who were just so nice via email correspondence
Doctor Caterine Boorer
http://catherineboorer.com.au/
Doctor Benjamine Norris ( doctor for those tv makeover shows)
http://www.silkwoodmedical.com.au/
Doctor Micheal Miroshnik ( dear God this man is good looking!!!)
http://www.drmiroshnik.com.au/about-dr-miroshnik/
Not sure of the prices of these ones but they get excellent reviews on the plastic sites... though I do believe that Doc Miroshnik is a little more pricy and is touted as Sydneys doc 90210... but the girls are willing to pay the extra just to have his hands on them!!

| ha haaa its a slog working through them... there are other good ones but these three I have had face to face with and are all lovely and kind. Laith barnouti likes to tell you how he will make your tummy beautiful. I have a difficult tummy as its a redo of a botched job and all three were most kind..
I had seen two others that were rude and beyond arrogant. If they are rude via email they are rude in person.. or worse. So I vetted them all by email first and came up with roughly 6, I only got to see these three before my band went tail up and I started to gain weight and there for making the whole tummy tuck redo a lost cause.
Good luck Tash its all very exciting!

| I had a consult with him about a year ago, refered by my band surgeon. I liked him , about $10,000 out of pocket for a reconstructive TT with medicare item no and PHI.
Havent had a TT done yet, cant fit it in to life , sigh.

| Thanks for the advice Trisha. I will check it out on the net. My GP has a great track record for referrals and she would use this surgeon herself. He also works at times with my sleeve surgeon (who my GP also used) who is very particular about everything. I'm going to make an appointment with him and see if I like him. Thanks again, I appreciate it. | |

| Kate...trust me get 3 referals and go see all three doctors before making your decision on your tuck. I know its a pain in the grass but you cant take it back once they get you with the scalpal ( know this from personal experience) and it is an expensive mistake and will cost the same fee all over again to redo it.
I have researched pretty heavy and have heard of this doc, but have not seen any of his work.Just because a surgeon puts his pics on his site does not mean he is good.... they wont put their lousy stuff up pics on.
Go to 'make me heal' and go to the aussie section and post the querie. There is also a thread which rates all the docs... you should be able to find someone who knows his work.

| Got a referral today from my GP for a plastic surgeon for a TT and possibly a breast lift (still deciding). Dr Mark Gianoutsis who is at Prince of Wales Private Hospital. Has anyone heard of or been to this surgeon and could you let me know what you think. While I trust my GP it's always nice to get first hand knowledge. Thanks.
