| To Bellajool.
are you going into St George Private??
if so, let me know what room you are going to be in & we can get together for moral support, I believe they have you up doing a lot of walking around asap.

| Hi twilighter,
Yes I had the same quick turnaround - went to the info night and saw Dr K about 1-2 weeks later and hafd surgery date for 4 weeks after one on one consult. I was super excited, freaked out and then just wanted it done!
Weightloss now feels achiveable and even after just 23 kg loss I feel and look way better than before.
Keep in touch, hope all goes well for you!

| thanks mj78 for your response. I think I was so apprehensive because I only went to see him for the 1st consultation a few weeks ago and then at the 2nd appointment last week he gave me my surgery date. This is something that I haven't been thinking about for a long time, just a month or so and now its all happening and so fast. Probably better than those people that are waiting months, don't really have time to change my mind now. Feeling more confident and even excited as the time draws nearer. | |

| Hey twilighter, I was sleeved by Dr Kuzinkovas just over 5 months ago now and he was and still is lovely. No major complications from surgery. I was nauseous post op and I had one vomit the day after the op and this was fixed with more anti-nausea/vomiting medication. I had the magic PCA (patient controlled analgesia) up until thursday morning (sugery was on a tuesday). Then I was home Friday morning.
Very happy with Dr K as well as Tania, his dietitian. Good luck with optifast and your big day will be here before you know it!
Good luck | |
