| I also read about a couple of former pro US footballers having it done and a US rapper. They were very open about it. | |

| Hi guys, found this thread and wanted to add... I have a feeling Adele had the sleeve done and is keeping it secret. She was sick for a few weeks with throat issues and when she was well she looked significantly smaller.
And after that she said she was embarking on a weight loss program with training.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2077107/Slimmed-Adele-shows-effect-surgery.html
That and I think Jennifer Hudson got it done too - She lost a lot of weight quickly and once performing live had to stop halfway due to stomach aches, although I think she got the band done.

| Great minds think alike, hey shrinky dink!?
Yeah she was pretty funny - though she's starting sound a little too like jeannie little - a bit too nasally! I latch onto people saying "now I just eat half of what I used to"....I always read that as code for "I've had surgery but am not prepared to admit to it (which is fine!)....I think she looks fab, i'd be thrilled if I looked as good as she does post-op!
Well it wouldn't surprise me, she was in the US for quite a while, they tend to do more bypasses than anything don't they??
hmmm..... | |

| Funny, I was wondering the same thing :O)
I heard/read Julia Morris talking about her weight loss a couple of years ago and she said that she was eating the same, just leaving half of whatever it was on her plate. Pre-surgery, I thought that was an incredibly strong thing to do and knew I would never be able to do that. Of course, it's easy now - I can't even eat half a serving of anything - so I'm wondering if she had a bit of help as well. Whatever - she looks great and has clearly won a battle with herself.
Loved what she had to say about motherhood tonight too!!

| I defs agree with Shane Warne!!! Never considered that maybe he had a band/sleeve?
And i also wonder "whats up" with the most famous people who have all the cash and money at their disposal to have a sleeve that don't....and struggle severely all their lives with their weight and their health. WHo cares if eventually a magazine picks up you had the sleeve and it goes public? Be PROUD that you took a stand for your health and well being!!!!!!

| Oh, so I am a freak then wasting sleep time. oh well, not the first time, sure it won't be the last!
Yeah I have to limit watching food shows and or reading cook books, I get hungry! I'm someone that can finish a decent meal (dietitians would probably call it large) and then watch master chef and be ready to eat another proper meal!

| On one doctor's website, he said he did a golfer's sleeve, my husband will shoot me for not being able to remember the golfer's name! Also on another aussie dr site, remember Dorinda who was a "celebrity chef" before it was cool and would cook on Bert Newton's morning show? She's from Jamaica or something.....Anyway she had the sleeve or band (can't remember which!). looks familiar but very different! Maybe Dr. Craig taylor's site..... | |

| I'm surprised that mire of them don't have it done. Seriously - like I tell everyone at work I'm not embarrassed. Yes I could exercise and eat better but there are other factors to consider. I would be proud of people like Oprah Kirsty A and magda. We've watch them struggle. It's not cheating as a physio from work said to me. It's a huge decision. Is Dawn French the Vicar from Dibley? | |

Hmmm I think we know her secret. Anyway good on her!
