| Sammy,
Don't hesitate to call the surgeon's nurse if you are concerned. She will know what to do, and may be able to offer some suggestions. Are you still experiencing excessive thirst? If so, be sure to mention this as well. Alternatively, do you have Laura's (the dietician) email address?. I have found emailing Laura very helpful along the way. You poor luv, you must be exhausted, are you back at work? | |

| Hi Sammy make sure you don't get too hungry - I find if I leave too long between meals I can feel quite nauseous. Have you called your surgeon? They often have answers to things we don't think they will know about. Is there anything you can eat with out feeling sick? If so just stick to that for a while. Make sure you get your nutrients in, and try to get some protein in. You are still very early out fro the op, eat very small nibbles, check with your surgeon, try not to worry, things will get better, promise, cross my heart Hope all goes well soon Pippa | |

| Just a thought but are you maybe trying to eat heavy starchy foods? At 6 weeks out I was on soft/mushy food and stuck with things like fish, soft chicken and vegetables. I could only eat about 1/4 cup at each meal and it took me a good 30-40 minutes to eat it. | |

| Hi Sammy I was sleeved 3 days after you and have really struggled with eating food and have only just started solids. Sorry to hear you are having problems. Could it just be a bit of a stomach bug? or reflux? Possibly eating too quickly or too much? Perhaps try liquids again for a day or two for your tummy to rest? Sorry, only have suggestions to think about but hope some sympathy helps you to feel better!! Jessied | |

| I haven't had the nauseus with eating so sorry can't help you out with that but I do find some days/weeks I don't want to eat very much at all. Do you think that it could be reflux or are you already on reflux meds. I would see your GP or have a chat to your surgeon about it. Let us know how you get on. | |
