Best place for all the info and support you need...and best of all its from people going through it or have been through it...no better place than the horses mouth so to speak. Best thing is to just ask a lot of questions and Keep us posted on how you are going.

| Hi Sandra and welcome to the forum. Sounds like you are finding your way around just nicely. Reading diaries is a great way to get an idea of different experiences and how we all recover at different rates from sleeve surgery. As GR said start your own diary as it is amazing how quickly life changes once you've had surgery. That's my experience anyway. Good luck and I look forward to reading all about your life changing journey.

| Welcome Sanj,
You will find this forum a wealth of knowledge, support and will make a few friends along the way, drop into the January Sleevers 2012 unite thread and join others who are having or have had their sleeves in January, it's very helpful to see how others are progressing around the same time as you.

| Hi All What a fantastic site this! I am getting sleeved on the 30th Jan by Dr Michael France at Ashford Hospital. To say I'm nervous is an understatement, but very excited at the same time!.. I have been contemplating the surgery for many years and decided I was sick of not liking the way i looked and feeling bad about myself, my self esteem is not existant! The site is so informative, any questions I have/had are all in the forums.. Im loving the diaries of everyone's progress.. Looking forward to many more happy endings! Sandra | |
