Welcome, Shannon! You have probably read a few diaries by now and realise how helpful they are. It is a great way to record your sleeve journey, and get support every step of the way! I look forward to reading yours!

Hi Shannon, welcome to this forum!

Yes join the december sleevers group, and maybe think of starting your diary on here too. It's a great way to record how far you've come.

Hi Shannon
Welcome to the site. I was discharged the day you were sleeved. (I agree the day after is a doozy!) Come and join us in the December sleevers and catch up with everyone else who were sleeved in December.

Hi Everyone,I was sleeved on 20th December 2011. Just about to step into the world of pureed food which I am looking forward to. I have lost about 8kgs so far but more than that I feel fantastic. I am missing chewing and tasting food but I know that will come in the coming weeks. The first couple of days after surgery I cannot lie I found very very challenging but the day of discharge (day two after surgery) I felt so much better and have continued to improve every day. So I hope to be able to talk to others and share achievements and challenges. Cheers newly sleeved 63412
