Well if it hasn't drained for a week I am sure they will take it out.

I don't quite understand why you have had it in for so long if its not draining.

I personally would not have gone home with a drain in. I had my last one out yesterday on day 9, I am being discharged and flying home tomorrow.

Hope all goes well with your surgeons appointment.

Seeing surgeon today. Please pray they take the drain out. Yesterday it started to ache again after a few days of being pain free and it looks a little gross and pussy around the wound. Need it oooouuuuutttttt!!! No new fluid though since last Friday so hopefully that's a good drain sign!!

Hope the Ted stockings get the boot too!!!
