| Hey guys
Still get occassional shoulder tip pain. Getting it more now when seated at the computer. Have no other symptoms. No pain or the like so I am confident it is not a dreaded leak. Maybe the gas decided to visit me 2 weeks later.

| I never had shoulder tip pain.
But, I did have a leak whilst still in hospital - my symptoms were extreme pain (nothing I'd ever felt in my life.. Child birth hurt less), fever, temperature, racing heart, nauseous...
Hope everything is all good now for you.

| Ok that should of said "I did overeat today", silly iphone.
Pain has subsided, was a temporary thing which I believe may have been due to over indulging. Do need to be careful. Will ring doc tomorrow to be safe.
Appreciate all the feedback.

| I had shoulder tip pain for quite a few weeks but it really only presented when I was full. It was a good warning indicator to stop eating while it lasted. But to be on the safe side I'd ring the surgeon if I was you. Let us know how you get on. | |

| Thanks guys. It's just that I have not had any gas so far, that's what got me worried. I'm not doubled up in pain, I can probably do a hand stand lol but just got this annoying shoulder pain - it does feel like gas but may call the doc in the morning to be sure. | |

| I was told that if I developed a leak it would be is very obvious as I would be very ill with severe pain, fever, rapid pulse. That said - I think if you feel worried, check your temp and contact your surgeon. | |

| Shoulder tip pain can also indicate GAS. My Surgeon explained to me that for some reason, a nerve in our stomach is connected to the shoulder tip.
If you are in doubt though, go immediately to A&E and tell them that you are two weeks out from major surgery. It is better to be safe, than sorry. But please remain calm. It is probably nothing.
People in here have described a leak as being doubled over in excruciating pain, and unable to walk or stand.

| Can you elaborate on your experience?
There must be other symptoms.

| Not to freak myself out but what are the leak symptoms?
2 weeks post op and I am getting shoulder tip pain, first time Since surgery. Whilst I am confident it is not as extreme as a leak, I am a little worried.
