| Down the track if you eat a really good diet, you will have no probs getting the protein in. I can get 80-100 gms in a day when I eat really well. | |

| Thanks guys, all good points. I was just wanting to get in enough protein but I guess getting into the dieting rules mindset might be dangerous. "protein first" will be my new motto! Thanks so much for your opinions n thoughts. Xox

| Speaking from my own experience I struggle to eat more than 1 piece of bread.. so becoming a "Carb-muncher" is never going to happen.
And I agree with Kate you aren't doing this to keep dieting at all.. just go with what you feel is right in terms of food. | |

| Just my opinion but to my mind we have our sleeve ops so we don't have to worry about "dieting" again. I agree with lisagraham all you have to do is stick to protein first and keep your fluid intake up. All those kinds of diets aren't designed for someone who has had sleeve surgery. I was going to try it before I found out about the sleeve and spoke to a few people who had used it both sucessfully and unsucessfully and everyone I spoke to said it was a lot of meat. | |

| Pipette87, I tried it pre-op and it was very hard to stick to. I have found after my op that the only thng that I need to stick to is eat protein first.
Good Luck with it! | |

| Hi guys,
I was wondering if anyone out there has tried the BodyTrim program after the sleeve op?
It is a program designed by Jeoff Gowett and it is a high protein low carb lifestyle. I thought it would be a good way to make sure I am getting in enough protein and to stop me from becoming a carb-muncher again - a habit I feel creeping in again. Grrr!
Would love to hear from anyone who has tried it.
THanks guys! | |
