Just joined the other day. I have just started my pre-op weightloss as I have to lose 15kg so that Dr Kiroff can get around Mr Liver.
Everything is lined up, all it requires from me is commitment to lose the weight. I started at 162.5 kg yesterday, and I would like to be under 150 kg on Dec 7, as I would hate to wait longer to get surgery.
That's about the only weight goal I have - I am in this to get my diabetes, sleep apnea, high blood pressure and cholesterol under control. I know I didn't have most of these things at 120 kg, but I was also 25 then. Realistically, if I can get under 110 kg I will be thrilled.
