Subject: Update 4 weeks post op Sat 22 Oct 2011, 9:37 am

Hi all just an update on my progress almost 4 weeks post op and doing great. Eating purees at moment and making sure drinking water and eating proteins but I am finding it hard to eat at work get busy and forget.

Lost 10kgs post op and all up 15kgs . Very happy with my decision to be sleeved and looking forwrd to my journey.

Hi there,

just a post surgery update second day home and doing well.

Today I drank 1/2 Up 'n Go, 1 Petit Mal, 250 ml water, 1/2 Opitfast , gelato and feeling like soup tonight.

Hope everyone who had surgery this week are going well also.

Hi

my name is Tracey and I live in Sydney. On the 26th September I have my gastric sleeve.The decision is something I have pondered for almost 12 months but a social get together with old work mates and the transformation of one of them through the gastric sleeve has been a motivator to do something about it.

I researched clinics and the process and I originally went to the Doctor for the Balloon but after very in-depth questions was advised that the Balloon and Lap-band is not suitable as I am a emotional eater. I am being operated by Dr Durmush.

I have struggled with my weight my entire life and the disability it brings with it but the last 3 years I have faced the end of a marriage and with that behind me its time to look after my health as I want to support my son as he advances to manhood.

So many medical conditions that I hope will improve with this step.

PCOS, High Blood Pressure, Pre Diabetic, Sleep Apnea, Depression, osteoarthritis. Every doctor has said loose weight or you will not make it through your 50's. Not this little black duck.
