| I have slowed down, and I hover at around 63KG most days, over the last two months I have only lost two KG, and I am happy with that. I would like to get down to 60KG eventually, so that I have a 'buffer' of 5KG, as I don't ever want to be above 65KG again.
My Surgeon told me last week that he was happy with my weight now, and not to lose any more.
I think that my body is choosing a set weight, but I have been naughty occasionally. This week it was Deli Chips and hommus dip for dinner! And I think this has helped impact on my weight loss.
As everyone says, having a few snacks like nuts, or dips ( one of those little trio lunch packs with a few bikkies) or a glass or two of wine a week with a cheese and bikkie will slow down the loss, without adding to your weight.
Its all about balance. If you have something naughty one day, just be good the day after! | |

| Just changing food choices will stop you losing. full cream everything, more snacks etc. I add some almonds sometimes. Don't worry. You WILL stop when your body is ready. | |

| Congratulations on your weight loss to date Bec. I have found the same; though I have slowed down a lot in the last two months; stay the same some weeks and drop some on others; on a whole loosing about a kilo a month now without trying too hard; though I am exercising. I notice if I have snacks (what ever I want, healthy, and a few bad ones), drink a couple of wines a week and don't try to loose weight at all; I am now stalling in my progress. I see my specialist soon for a check up; though he said not to go below 60kg ever; though my GP says I should be a maximum of 55kgs and if you read some of these pharmacy adverts on BMI the article suggest I should be 45kgs that one must be hog wash). I reckon within a year without trying too hard I should be at least at my dream weight of 60kgs. Look up LIB on here she has a thread with similar answers to which you seek; saying convert to full cream milk; no diet anything and eat as you please and your weight will stop declining. My dietican's answer I like the best; your weight will stop and settle, at where it wants to be at, as told to me. I hope this assists as I first didn't think I would ever get down to the weight I am now; then thought I would never stop loosing; now I realise it slows down eventually, if you follow your dieticans instructions. Take care. | |

| Hi all, Well I'm 5 months post sleeve and have lost 24kg since my op oand about 30kg over all. I'm stoked!! I weighed 72kg this morning. I've had quite a few people begin to notice how thin I am now and how quickly it has come off. People are beginning to ask when am I going stop losing weight. People say I look good now and you don't want to get too skinny... I still want to lose another 7-9kg but I haven't been "trying" to lose weight for ages now. I eat quite well and have even been having chips and choc occasionally. And I still continue to keep losing... I can't imagine eating more than I already do, so I'm also beginning to wonder how do you stop losing weight? Any one maintaining their goal weight, I'd love to hear from you, especially. Thank you
