| Hello Linnie Welcome to GSS forum. Congrats on your decision to be sleeved, you are going to love it. I had a large hiatus hernia repaired when I was sleeved. My recovery was very normal, no probs and I can now eat and drink anything. Good luck with your surgery and journey. | |

| Hey Linnie, congrats!!! It's all very exciting isn't it?!
I am having my sleeve done on September 19. Pop into the September Sleevers group if you get a chance, there are about 14 of us and we'd love to share our journey with you :)

| Hi Everyone, This is my first post and just wanted to say hi. After many diets that have only worked short term I had my first appointment with Dr Greg Nolan at Southport to discuss having a sleeve gastorectomy. Was I pleased when he agreed. I have already had the blood tests this afternoon and dietition appointment is on Monday. And the op is booked for 13th of September. Am I rapped! Only hiccup is I have to have a gastroscopy next Tuesday as I have a hiatus hernia. But that shouldnt be a problem. Can't wait. | |
