| Evening Everyone 51 weeks to go till PHI kicks in. Information session at Darebin Weight Loss 14th September 2011 (has anyone here used Darebin?). I keep looking at all my clothes at the moment while i am doing my washing and thinking all you fat clothes are on borrowed time. God i so cannot wait. I read on some threads that you have to do the sleepover/ respritory tests. How did people go? | |

| Hi Melza
Good luck for your waiting time, I have 4 months to go till phi kicks in, the time does go faster than you expect. It also gives you lots of time to keep reading on here so you will be fully prepared and all your questions will be answered.
All the best

| Hey Melza! It will fly, seriously. I have been waiting since September last year and I am nearly there! Just keep yourself busy and you'll be sweet :).
I started all my pre op appointments at around the 6 - 7 month of waiting mark and they are all out the way now. I paid for my surgery today and will be sleeved in 7 weeks time.
I started a thread in the pre op section if you'd like to have a read ... when I first took out my PHI I just felt like it was going to be impossible to wait 12 months for this but the people on there have helped my journey so much!

| Hi Everyone, I have been visiting this forum on and off for the last week reading everyone's comments. I am going to see my GP on Wednesday night to look at my options for permanent weight loss. I have tried that many diets and just cant keep the weight off. I would give anything to feel that full feeling. It is good to read the comments on the sleeving versus the banding and the pros and cons. I am terrified of surgery, but have decided that this is the way that i want to go. I have booked in for an information session in September at Darebin Weight Loss Centre. It is great to see that i am not the only one that is having trouble with my weight. Sometimes it feels like you are the only one. | |
