Im not surprised!!!! The amount of full fat ingredients, my God!!!!
Maybe we should go on and do a sleevers masterchef- tiny portions, low fat options, no carbs!!! LOL ... I love that idea pierced mumma. Sure wish I had a "sleeverchef" at my house., | |

| I'm a qualified chef and worked in the industry for over 6 years and while you use A LOT of oils and butter etc you're really not consuming that much plus you're on your feet all day often with no breaks at all i pretty much maintained but didn't gain while working in kitchens but have put on 20kg since being in an office for two years. The thing with cheffing is that you eat food after your shift at weird times and that can be a major cause for weight gain as well as excessive alcohol consumption as we tend to be fond of a drink or four after work ;) Just my 2c | |

| Chefs have some terrible and some good eating habits. Terrible in the huge amount of time they dont eat a sit down meal they taste as they cook. Good as when they do sit down for a meal it tends to be simple lean food.

| How do chefs not get morbidly obese (i know SOME are) but with all the food.
Since Ive been home from the cancer debarcle, Ive been watching Ready Steady Cook (bring back Pete I say) and the amount of creams, sugars, oil, etc......
So it got me thinking.... how do chefs not get morbidly obese when they prepare and cook food like that? I know they wouldnt eat all that they cooked... but still.............
Just a random, pain killers induced weird thought.......
