| Yep, just remembered the remote controlled helicopter my DH got for his birthday, he loves it... they are all big kids aren't they? It was $170 and lots of fun. Camera is a good idea Jacko, I think. Is your hubby into sports, Mel? What about signed footy jumpers, collector cards in frames, authenticated photo of favourite actor, movie memorabilia.... still thinking... | |

| Wow... he is hard to buy for. I like to buy experiences.... like BBQ cooking classes, brew your own beer, walking photography tours of Melb, massages, shows, overnight stay at Werribee Zoo.... that sort of thing. But as you say, not really appropriate for your situation. I have also bought some 'keep' gifts, deluxe BBQ, rings, woodworking stuff, family portraits, etc etc. For some unique gift ideas, I like www.etsy.com, great site for gifts, but you need a bit of time as most stuff comes from the USA. Great site if your hubby is into a particular thing, eg. trains, Harry Potter, pokemon, wood etc etc Good luck Mel. | |

| Does he like bike rides? If so a Harley Davidson ride..... I know it is not something he can keep but it is a great ride!
Or a cartoon picture of him... I got one done for my boss for this 50th it was great!....... got it done by this guy ... http://www.sprattiart.com.au/charactures
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING - it is an original - done by hand, not by a computer generated one...... | |

| Hi all
My hubby is a nightmare to buy for and his 40th is coming up in August
He collects watches but i can't buy one for him - he buys high end watches and gets them from collectors he skis but doesn't need any ski gear I would like to buy him something that he can keep up to 1000.00
He bought me diamond earrings from himself plus from ds a little charm that was just perfect in every way
So you can see i have a big challenge!
He works away so booking a show or anything like that will be a nightmare We are going away in January so a holiday won't do either!
I need something big from me and something smallish from ds
Please help!!!
