| Cellulite is really just fat that has gathered around the tops of your thighs and bum. I never had it, being an apple shape with skinny legs and arms means I will have a DIFFERENT problem! The 'Mega Muffin top!' I have no waist! I haven't had a small waist for over 20 years, after four kids, I don't expect I ever will again! I think that with exercise, walking, weights etc the fat will go from those areas. However, if you are a 'Pear' shape, your thighs are never going to be the smallest part of you, but it is a lovely WOMANLY shape! Cellulite can also supposedly be helped with deep tissue massage...In my honest opinion, I think the term was invented by the beauty industry to make women feel bad about their bodies! Cellulite, or fatty deposits on your thighs will shrink as YOU shrink. After all, cellulite is fat, and that is what you are losing with the sleeve! | |

| Hi,
I had cellulite and after the sleeve when the Dr gave me the ok I started Deep Water Running classes. That was 3 months ago now I've lost over 25 kilo and I don't have any cellulite. But I do have excess skin at the top inside of my thighs. The surgeon said to me at about the 15 month mark skin will have contracted as much as it's going too. My thinking has been to build muscle tone so if I need anything done cosmetically the result hopefully will be good....
Have a nice easter.

| Can anyone help on how to cope (lose) with cellulite once you lose a lot of weight. What exercises/treatments are useful. Does some of it disappear with sustained weight loss?
