| Yep Terry, sometimes, nothing but chocolate will do.
and I did see the V of D episode with the chocolate fountain ................. my goodness, laughed so much, needed to change the knickers after that..
PS I specialise in confessions, sometimes I hear other people's too.

| Oh sassysmum, I can just imagine it! ROFLMFHO - I SO wish I'd been there! I do love the Vicar of Dibley - did you see the one with the chocolate fountain? Haven't you always wanted to do just that? *grin* Well, if you're on Optifast, it's officially allowed to have Chocolate shakes, and the bars are covered in chocolate too (but they are not so yummy that you'll want more, which is a good thing). Good luck on the Opti... | |

| Re chocolate and drug addiction
Today at my pre-admission check up, and among the million questions were "do you take any recreational drugs" "Yep" I replied. the nurse looked stunned (.................... you would have to have seen me in the interview, because I am a Parish priest and was wearing a clerical collar at the time - so rather Vicar of Dibley like).
She swallowed hard a couple of times and then said "What exactly to you use?" ......
I replied .............. "chocolate of course!"
so here is me going without my recreational drug over Easter because my sleeve date is 27th April ......... I'M doing Opti.... bumma.
In theory I could have one teeny weenie piece .... but unfortunately I can't stick to one teenie anything . so NONE will have to do this year. Maybe next year. ........... Sigh............!

| I'm working over easter and plan to stay away from the shops post easter...yes because I was that person who bought all the cheap choclate eggs post easter last year and munched my way through them. I dont plan on catching up with family as it's a long drive and honestly I cant be bothered with it all for a few hours and having to rush back to work. But, I am not doing that this year. I have done the shopping I need apart from veges which i get from the market and who also sell easter eggs WAY outside my budget (thanksyou local expenisve seller, thankyou thankyou!!) I know my mum has bought me an egg and thats fine..one is not going to be a huge disaster..but me at coles/woolies buying up cheap is. So thats my plan! Lets see if it works. | |

| I am a chocoholic... BUT I've told my hubby that I don't want to feel deprived and I'd like the Easter Bunny to come to me & bring a very small very good little egg or bunny....I'm working on the theory that less is more....& I'm not buying anything at the supermarket except for 1 bunny each for the kids & hubby.....that's the plan anyway! | |

| Hey Peazles and everyone else Funny you should ask about Tam and Si on the chocolate thread! ROFLMHO You'll be very happy to know that Tam has made it through her first term of full time teaching without cracking up again, and is now enjoying a well-earned holiday. Well, part-time holiday, as she has to work on planning classes for next term etc. AND she's lost heaps of weight - now only about 2kg heaver than me, I think. She's having serious issues finding clothes to wear, having dropped to a size 14-16 and even fitting into a size 12 dress that she had in her wardrobe! Woo hoo! I told her I have to take pics of her and Simon when I visit over Easter, so I can post them... Simon seems to have stalled, but he lost a lot more quickly in the beginning, as you might remember. Not sure of his weight or size, but heh looked great when I saw him a few months ago. Kel, I'm sorry, but I just don't understand not eating chocolate - or was it because it was bunny shaped? GotI had a friend when I was a child who used to do exactly the same thing - but she wouldn't share the chocolate, even though she knew she'd never eat it. Gottarhyme, yeah, have to get it in perspective - 4 little squares occasionally is great, especially compared to previously (yeah, I would have had a family block to myself too). Rowdy and Kati - good on you for just saying NO. And D'Girlz - I just can't imagine that - I hope he showers before he comes home, so he doesn't come home smelling like chocolate? | |

| Please dont kill me chocoholics I hate easter.. i love chocolate.. but the idea of there being so much in the shops just with those bunnies staring at you with every step you take freaks me out. On easter morning when i was a kid, get up and the easter bunny had been.. i would put my chocolate in the freezer and tell me mum it was for later she would always throw it out the day before the eater bunny was due to visit again. So i cant handle easter. But check out the easter invitation that chookyness came up with today and join all of us with it... team support never fails Have a great day kel | |

| Soooo naughty last night, I had a row of lindt choccie for tea...4 squares. I was in Sydney visiting my sister. I promise to be good tomorrow. Cross my heart! It is scary how EASILY choccie goes down! If I eat one piece of chicken more than I should, 4 bits instead of three, I vomit! But my tummy says, 'Yay! Choccie! Hello old friend!' I suppose I should be realistic. This time last year I would have demolished a family block over a day. Four squares is a LITTLE indulgence with a cup of tea. Like a NORMAL person! | |

| So very reassuring to read that others have the same serious issues with chocolate! It is a drug - and I can't go there... It is like an irrational compulsion for me. I can't do it... it is all or nothing for me.
Chocolate in drinks is ok, chocolate flavoured protein bars/powder are fine. But the real stuff, wrapped in foil, is so incredibly addictive. My consolation is that I don't have kids/grandkids, so can avoid all this so much more easily. I would be stuffed otherwise (literally). - Kati

I plan on having one bunny and not buying anymore, Im going to get the kids a crappy brand that I dont like (Heritage or Candy lane) they cant tell the difference and I wont be tempted....in theory Jiggly

| Yeah, Easter sucks for chocoholics. We've been talking about it on the 'fat thinking doing my head in' thread, too. Shelly, you are not alone - I've done that very thing so many times! Now we just don't buy them unless we know for sure we'll be seeing the grandies over Easter. And this Easter we're going to Adelaide to see Tam and Simon and the boys, so we're not buying any until we get there. Have to admit to eating several of those new Malteser bunnies, though, and a few caramello eggs. *sigh* Jacko, just don't touch it - as soon as you do, you're in trouble. JUST SAY NO TO DRUGS - CHOCOLATE!!! And I'm going to try and take my own advice, too. | |
