| Hi there, sorry to hear that you have the flu. I would imagine it would be normal to lose your appetite especially as you view food in a different light now. All you can do is consume what you can(maybe go back to broths), and keep up the fluids. Eat some jelly or get some gelatein from the band buddies site. That has 20g protein in it, which is better than nothing. HOpe you feel better really soon. | |

| Hey Mel, This Jolly flu has knocked me more than the surgery or recovery ever did. And as for the eating lack of it.LOL I guess it will shift me off this second plateau I'm on. I have a stubborn body that looses a couple of kilo's then stops for more than a couple of weeks at a time.. Hope your recovery has been good Mel? Have a good evening andrea | |

i hear ya with the fluid i am only 21 days post op and i have spent the last 21 days dehydrated still trying to get the hang of enough fluid i just eat by the clock so i dnt starve cause im not interested in food at moment ,might have to try that while your sick with flu .goodluck

| Hiya Mel I was just the opposite pre surgery I loved all the comfort food when I would get the flu. Now I have no interest at all......It's hard enough work just keeping the fluids going..... Andrea | |

before i had the flu if i was sick i would lose interest in food ,only time i managed to lose weight before surgery lol
