Hi Floss, congrats on getting so close to your op date. It is exciting the thought of having the op and losing weight. I was excited and scared at the same time. A strange feeling, but I think quite normal. Just he unknown coming up, but of course, it turned out great. I am nearly half way in the amount of weight I want to lose. Amazing!!! I think.
Have a great Xmas and an exciting, happy, slim new year.

Hi Floss welcome...and enjoy counting down the days.

Are you doing opti before the surgery?

Enjoy what's left of the next few days...

Hi Floss,

I wish you the same success that I have had.
I love my sleeve.

Welcome Floss,

Congrats on making the decision to have the sleeve. Have you had your band removed yet? I had a band for 5 years with no luck, in fact I ended up weighing more than when I had it put in...for all the usual reasons. I have been sleeved for 3 weeks now and honestly, the sleeve is everything I hoped the band would be.

Congrats to your daughter also, sounds like she is doing really well. Have you joined the January (I presume?) Sleevers group? If you look under 'The Monthly Sleevers' you can find people being sleeved in the same month as you.

Good luck with everything and see you round the forum.

Hugs,

Jiggly xx

Hi Everyone,

Getting excited now because I'm having my sleeve done in less than a month! Had a band now for 3 years without any real success so I'm hoping the sleeve will be the ticket. My daughter had her sleeve done in September and is doing so well I asked our surgeon to sign me up!

Looking forward to finding my way around the site and sharing everyone else's experiences.

Cheers for now,
