| Of course! I'm going through Mr. Ahmad Aly - he is part of the Darebin Weight Loss Surgery in Bulleen and he operates at Warringal in Heidelberg.
I highly reccommend seeing them if you get the chance, they work as an amazing team! | |

| Hi Mira,
Good luck with it all, such an exciting and nerve wracking time!
I've decided not to go with this particular surgeon anymore, however everything I have researched and looked into indicates he is amazing at what he does. Good luck with everything :)

| I am seeing Harry on 15th April and believe I will be able to have surgery on the 4th May, I have always had problems with weight and over the many years Harry has performed surgery on me three times to replace the band, once to take the band off as it herniated into my chest cavity (October 2008) and now I am on the final run, the sleeve gastretomy, he was meant to do the sleeve when he removed the lapband but as the surgery was complex and took so long he was unable to do it. I have put on such a incredible amount of weight in the last five months and have really fought hard against having this done, feeling that I need to tough it out and do it through dieting, but it just does not work for me, as my eating disorder just takes over and I cannot seem to fight it. I am haoping that by joining a group such as this I will get the support and understanding I need and maybe can eventually meet up with some other sleevers in Melbourne over time. | |
