| Hi Tessie, It's great on here isn't it...I did not find this forum until the day after my operation and really regret i did not know about it beforehand......i really think that the receptionist of every wls surgeon should give out the details for this site when you first go to see them. would save many lots of stress if they could get on here and ask ask ask and read read read. Anyways welcome and chat away......hehehe | |

| Hi Tessie and Welcome,
It's lovely to meet you. Congratulations on your sleeve op, I'm glad to here that you are doing well. I had my op in Feb this year and ike you I think this is the best thing I've ever done.
There is lots of great information here and now that you are a member you will find that you can access more areas. The Diaries in particular are a good place to start. The Pre-op & Post-op sections should be helpful too. Have a read of the Welcome to Newbies section too, it will give you an idea of how the site works and if you want to include a ticker in your signature, you will find the instructions there.
If you can't find the information you need, ask away, there is sure to be someone around who will do their best to help.
Cheers – Carrie

| Hi Everyone!
I was sleeved almost 5 weeks ago in Sydney and have decided to sign up after finding this site on the internet just before my operation and I have found so much great information here over the last few weeks. I am doing well and am thinking that this has been the smartest decision I've ever made (even despite a surgical complication - but I'll tell that story another time).
I also have the luxury of having heaps of support from friends and family.
So thanks for having me!
I loook forward to posting away... (I'm pretty chatty so it shouldn't be too hard!)
Cheers
