| No, I've been with them for like, 5 years or something, but I didn't have Hospital Cover, only Extra's. I thought the waiting periods were only for new customers, not existing ones. My bad :) | |

| Sunflowa_girlie welcome, welcome.. welcome... I agree with Peazles... what cover are you on and who with... normally if you have kept the same level of hospital cover for 1 year you should be covered for the sleeve.... also you have picked a brilliant surgeon! | |

| Hi Sunflowa_girlie
Welcome =) what do you mean by your PHI having waiting periods after you've been with them for over a year? If you've been with them for a year at a level of cover that will cover your sleeve, you should be right to go? | |

| Thanks for the welcome :) My surgeon will be Jon Armstrong, but the surgery won't be for another year - I thought my PHI didn't have waiting periods once you've been with them for over a year, but apparently not :( Still going to try my hardest to kick start the weight loss and learn as much about the procedure as possible though! | |

| Hi Jody, I am in a similar stage to you. Finally have decided to take the plunge and booked my first consult next month. Now that I have made my decision I just want to get started! Which surgeon are you going with? I am booked in to see Dr Padovan at the Mount.... | |

| Hi Jody,
Welcome aboard, you will need a very large supply of coffee to get through the site but it is worth it. Congratulations on the upcoming surgery and don't forget to ask questions if you need any help.
Hugs Gail
