| if it is due to your diet you could try one of the vitamins for your skin health such as fish oil, flaxseed oil or vitamin e oil. All of those help your skin especially on a low fat diet. | |

| I have found that my skin appears to be dry and with ezcema I can't use many products. I have found that "Michaels" products are fabulous. I use the skin wash and lotion daily and it has made my skin feel very smooth and the flaking has stopped. I think in my case it's a lack of oils in my diet and the weight loss effecting my skins elasticity, but the products help and they are not pricey.
Good luck Jen | |

Plenty of fluid (2 to 2.5 litres a day no problem) - not much in the way of fats or oils during the liquid phase - hopefully will pick that up a bit during the move to mushies / solids - in the meantime I will keep ladling on the moisturiser

| Hi Bob I was going to say the same, about the amount of water or general fluids you are drinking. I have noticed the same thing with my skin since op, but some days I struggle with my fluids. That said winter is the worst time of year I always find my skin tends to be just dryer in winter. Drink heaps and keep up the mosturiser. | Hi all
I have always had the good fortune to have smooth skin with plenty of natural oils to keep the wrinkles at bay (grey hair, a bent back but smooth skin!).
Since the operation, my skin seems to be drying out and, particularly round the eyes, becoming a bit scaly. Is this just that I have been spending too long in hot showers (I am still at home post operative and enjoy a nice warm shower on a cold Canberra day) or is this something coming from the change to my body chemistry and diet?
Anything I could look to add back into my diet to combat skin dryness (I am whacking on the moisturiser as I type!)
