Hi Mike,
My surgeon also said 2 x 2 x 2 which I think is the most common.

Mind you when you start mushies from solids you won't fit much in LOL
Remember to go slow and eat tiny amounts from a tea spoon when you first start.

Cheers Gail

Hi Mike and welcome to the site.

I was on liquids only for my first two weeks post-op. I had pureed food for weeks three and four, then I had two weeks on soft foot, before begining to slowly introduce solids. This seems a fairly common timetable. All surgeons have their own requirements though, and we are all different, so you really should contact your own medical team to clarify what they would like you to do.

I saw a dietician pre-op and again in hospital and was given quite detailed instructions on what I should do and when.

Cheers - Carrie
