Surgeons Appt. Tomorrow!

It's great that you have seen your dr. It took 5 weeks from sending my apra forms away to get the money in my hands. You can download the form from the internet.

I had a little minor panic attack before i walked in, and i gripped my partner's hand and went "wait"........ he squeezed back, and then i said "right, lets go". Just needed to think for 3 seconds and the thought in my head went "no, you ARE doing this. NOW.".

Well, they were LOVELY. I am more confident about it working now than ever before (still a little worried but im going to try my hardest). The surgeon im seeing is more expensive than others, however they have a hollistic team approach, and for me, thats what's important and needed.

So, all of my questions (even more i thought of not on my 3 pages) were answered and the whole experience was lovely. At one stage, the nurse started to talk about the pre op diet and I said "yes so your liver can go into ketosis"....and she just said "wow, you have been researching havent you!".

Ive been invited to the support group meeting on 10 May and I can't wait.

So, I needed to ask a question, which I will ask the surgeons on Tuesday, but-

Im planning to have my surgery in August. So, my first "official" appointment with the surgeon is on May 11. I need to access APRA, etc for that so Im wondering if I should postpone the appointment (no doubts or anything it is purely a timing issue) and get the super approved, etc.

I WANT this to happen in August. So I might give them a call and see what they suggest.... it's kind of hard to explain typing.

Are they typed A4 pages or are they handwritten.
Are they double spaced or single.

Either way, nah not too much just ask away and don't forget to write down the answers because you will forget LOL

Wow. The day is here! Im really doing it!

Well, its a free consultation with the nurse (the surgeons wife) but I dont care- I feel so proud Ive done this.

Im writing my list of quesitons now.

Im not nervous, but I feel a little nervous excitement.

Hows that?
